HR SPECIALIST
The ideal candidate will have exposure and experience working within a HR environment, including gaining knowledge on daily HR functions and best practices as well as working well under pressure. Candidates should also have experience with general HR computer programs, such as Microsoft Office. They must also have experience maintaining employee records and know how to process payroll.
Recruitment & Staffing
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate and conduct initial interviews, and assist managers in the selection process.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations during recruitment.
On Boarding & Orientation
- Facilitate the on boarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters and employment contracts.
- Organize orientation sessions to introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and procedures.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted to the relevant authorities Employee Records Management
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system (HRIS).
- Ensure all employee data is accurate, secure, and compliant with local regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to employee data and statistics
Performance Management
- Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluation.
- Assist in organizing training sessions for managers on performance appraisal techniques.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Help resolve employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and initiatives.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs for employees.
- Maintain training records and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in administering employee compensation and benefits programs.
- Support payroll activities by ensuring timely submission of employee data and leave records
Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and regulations, including Saudization policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are in line with legal requirements.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor employee turnover rates and assist in developing retention strategies
HR Projects
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee experiences.
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and objectives.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on HR best practices and trends, particularly in the Saudi context.
- Propose and implement improvements to HR processes and systems
Additional Considerations
- Familiarity with local customs and cultural sensitivity is essential.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English is often required for effective communication.
- Knowledge of local labor laws, including the Saudi Labor Law and regulations related to employment, is crucial
